Futhark is a scholarly annual journal which began publication in december 2010. Futhark is a Diamond Open Access journal published in digital form, with a facility for print-on-demand.
The periodical is an independent journal with editors from three countries and an Advisory Board with representatives from a further five. It has as its base of operations Uppsala Runic Forum at the Department of Scandinavian Languages at Uppsala University.
